Material

Ash is a slightly soft wood with a tight, straight grain. Thanks to its straight grain, ash bends well, making it very suitable for the furniture industry. Treated ash wood is strong and durable, but untreated ash can show a lot of movement and yellow quickly. Sanded ash has a clean and smooth look. Brushed ash has more character, while band-sawn ash has a very robust and raw appearance.
