The JAPAN S™ shoes are based on one of our models from 1981. This reworked iteration features a low silhouette complete with a court-inspired toe box.

Updated with a lightweight design that includes a modified cupsole, this shoe is enhanced with premium comfort and improved cushioning. Taking on the aesthetic of a retro trainer, this heritage style is also paired with nostalgic branding, like the ASICS stripes on the sides and the "ASICS" lettering on the heel.

The vintage trainer aesthetic of the JAPAN S™ shoe is combined with iconic terrain-specific details inspired by the shoes worn on the court by basketball players in the 80s.
